Allan has 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry, including 17 years as a Loss Adjuster, having worked for global and national loss adjusting firms. In the last 12 years, Allan has specialised in construction and commercial property losses and has developed a reputation for efficiently managing and resolving complex claims across SME, Tier 1 & 2 and infrastructure sectors.
Allan has also been engaged to assess construction claims for the government sector, including construction of new roads and rail, high rise buildings, commercial office buildings, utilities infrastructure upgrade works and refurbishment of existing assets. This has enabled Allan to develop a comprehensive understanding of contractual arrangements, compliance and statutory requirements, and the roles of all stakeholders involved.
Allan’s knowledge of Contractors All Risk policies and the interpretation of complex defect exclusion clauses has seen him provide workshops and training to claims staff for industry clients.
Allan also has extensive experience in the assessment of catastrophe claims, including large volumes of property damage and interruption claims arising out of Cyclone Larry (Innisfail 2006), Newcastle floods (2007), Lismore floods (2007), Black Saturday bushfires (2009), as well as various smaller weather events around Victoria over recent years.

Terry is an Accounting and Insurance major with 35 years’ experience in the Loss Adjusting and Forensic Accounting fields. Terry has been appointed to a broad range of claims, including major and complex Property damage, Construction, Loss of Profits and Fraud claims across Government, Manufacturing, Industrial, Hospitality and Retail sectors.
Prior to moving into Loss Adjusting, Terry worked for a mid-tier chartered accounting firm where he specialised in audit. Terry then joined a global loss adjusting firm to specialise in financial losses arising out business interruption and fraud related matters.
Over the course of his 35 year loss adjusting career, Terry has been engaged to assess a broad range of financial losses of varying complexity and size. He has provided advice to Underwriters in relation to the drafting of policy wordings and has also acted as an expert witness in litigated matters.
Terry is a preferred loss adjuster for both Commonwealth and Victorian government claims involving property damage and financial loss. His knowledge of government funding arrangements has seen him appointed to major financial losses in the health and clinical research sectors.
Terry also has considerable experience managing and assessing claims arising out of catastrophic events. As Victorian Regional Leader with a global loss adjusting firm, Terry was responsible for the co-ordination and management of loss adjusting resources for numerous catastrophe responses and played a pivotal role in the co-ordination and assessment of business interruption losses arising from the Longford Gas Plant explosion, and property and business interruption claims arising out of the Black Saturday bushfires.

Sara has worked in the Loss Adjusting industry for over 35 years in various senior Executive Assistant and administrative roles.
PFA’s workflow system (Actionstep) and our Quality Management and Client Service compliance are managed by Sara Hogan, our QM and Compliance Manager. This ensures that both claim assessment compliance, quality management and the day-to-day contract performance requirements are fulfilled on each and every claim.
To ensure development and delivery of a quality loss adjusting product, Sara personally reviews every report issued by PFA for consistency, accuracy and quality, and provides constructive feedback to PFA adjusters as part of our continuous improvement process.
Sara has considerable knowledge and experience with IT systems and processes and works closely with adjusters to ensure efficient and timely processing of claims, as well as communicating claim progress with all stakeholders to the claim.
With the onset of the COVID pandemic, Sara took on responsibility for business continuity processes that saw every PFA staff member working from separate locations. The process and administrative changes were seamless and now form the basis of our ongoing business continuity planning.

After completing his accounting degree, Nick worked in both audit and tax accounting departments for major accounting firms. Nick has also worked in commercial business in both management and finance roles.
Nick is an accomplished Forensic Accountant and has been engaged by both the private and commercial sector to investigate matters involving employee fraud and the verification of asset values involving shareholder disputes. Nick is highly regarded and regularly provides litigation support on complex fraud matters.
Over the last 8 years, Nick has worked closely with Terry Hogan on the analysis of fraud and consequential loss matters. Nick has considerable experience in a variety of accounting and finance systems, which enables him to review transactional data in an accurate and efficient manner.
Nick has also worked alongside Police during the investigation and validation stages of fraud matters and, where necessary, has contributed data and documentation to be included in briefs of evidence used to charge and convict fraudulent parties.

Damon is a Chartered Accountant, and Chartered Loss Adjuster with over 30 years’ experience in the Insurance, Loss Adjusting and Forensic Accounting fields. Possessing a wide range of industry and management experience, Damon has been appointed to a broad range of significant claims throughout his career, including major and complex Property damage, Loss of Profits, Economic Loss and Fidelity claims across Resourcing, Industrial and Manufacturing, Government, Hospitality and Retail sectors. With a preferred specialism in financial matters, Damon has held Executive Adjuster Status since 1998.
In March 2019, Damon founded Katsam Services, an Insurance Consultancy business that help Insurance supply chain businesses develop and execute on strategies that improve Client loyalty, increase profitability and efficiencies, develop digital capabilities, and offer practical solutions to Client issues.
Prior to this Damon held a variety of roles with Sedgwick, a global claim management firm. Appointed as CEO Australia in January 2013, and assuming responsibility for the Asia Pacific region (comprising Australia, NZ, and 9 Asian Countries) in October 2014 – Damon directed the Sedgwick team of over 1400 expert staff providing a wide range of Client focused risk and claim management solutions – all focused on delivering a strategic diversified-services model through the claim value chain to enable beneficial Client and Customer outcomes.
An experienced, seasoned business leader with a broad range of strategic, operational, and financial leadership capability, Damon led the AsiaPac team through a period of robust growth and development, contributing to Global Strategic development as a member of the Global Leadership team from 2014 – 2019.
Damon also has considerable experience managing sophisticated Catastrophe Team responses – managing the assessment of thousands of CAT claims arising out of Australian and Asian catastrophic events. David has 28 years’ experience in the insurance industry and 23 years as a Loss Adjuster. Across the course of his loss adjusting career, David has been engaged by underwriters to assess a broad range of claims, including major and complex Property Damage matters with Business Interruption components, as well as Contract Works matters.
Residing in Bendigo, David has considerable experience assessing claims throughout regional Victoria and has developed a reputation for expertise in relation to assessment of Rural/Farming losses. David is highly regarded for his service levels and client empathy and is committed to working constructively with all claim stakeholders to efficiently and cost effectively resolve claims.
David has worked with boutique and multinational loss adjusting firms both as a Loss Adjuster and as a people and process Manager.
He has assessed claims arising out of numerous catastrophe events, including cyclones in northern Australia and the Victorian Black Saturday Bushfires, where he also played a significant role in management of the catastrophe response.

Terry is an Accounting major and has 27 years experience in the Loss Adjusting and Forensic Accounting fields. Terry has been appointed to many major and complex matters involving Property Damage, Loss of Profits and Fraud across the Government (State & Federal), Health, Manufacturing, Industrial, Hospitality and Retail sectors.
As a senior manager with a Global Chartered Loss Adjusting firm, Terry was responsible for the co-ordination and management of loss adjusting resources, including numerous catastrophe responses. In particular Terry played a major role in the co-ordination and assessment of business interruption losses arising from the Longford Gas Plant explosion.
Terry has considerable experience in the investigation and quantification of Property and Financial losses and he has provided expert reports and evidence to support insurance claims and criminal proceedings.
